DEVELOPMENT / children (6 months)

Development of the child 6 months - practical advice

The child inspects the house: If the baby began to move independently, he will inevitably begin to travel home. To bar the approaches to the stairs, close the door to the bathroom, cover receptacle, protect the child from sharp corners, lock to lock the drawers in the Cabinet. Avoid accidents! All poisonous substances, detergents and medicines should be hidden.

Sit on the floor with your child: At this age children need a comfortable place to play. Allow them some time to be on the floor. This helps the child to learn to roll over and crawl. If your baby does not like to be alone, join him and play together. Store toys in small boxes. The child begins to receive the interest for the small things. Keep his favorite toys in a small box or basket, and let he pulls them out. It is better to use several smaller boxes than one large box.

Call their names: Within a few months, you often talked to the baby. Imitating the sounds he had uttered, you aroused his interest in the conversation and thus developed his speech. Now, when the child was six months old, you can more actively engage in dialogue. Think of exercises that would be mentioned parts of his body - eyes, nose, hands, feet, and while playing call them.

Invite friends: Invite guests to baby, which could play together with your child. After the children look, feel and carefully examined each other, they will be able to detect significant differences between toys and real people.

New discoveries

Patty cake: Play with the baby Patty cake. Sing him a song: Patty cake, Patty cake, Where were they? His grandmother. What they ate? The clover. Drink? The mash.

Talk with a Cup: Gather together a few cups of different sizes and put them in a cardboard box. Applying in turn each Cup to his mouth, repeat some familiar word (e.g., the name of the child). The kid will notice how differently we hear his name. Continue the game and try to pronounce the different sounds. The more the baby will be to listen to them, the sooner you will begin to repeat.

The ball of water: Fill a balloon with water and tie it lace. Show your baby how to change the shape of the ball when you squeeze and shake him, and let him do the same thing. He will soon discover that the ball bounces, if he is thrown, and shakes, if it twirl. Never leave a child alone. Remember: if the baby will take it in your mouth, exploding ball can bring harm.

Playing with sounds: Pour into plastic bottles with different amounts of water. Banging a spoon on each of them, you will hear different sounds. The child, too, will notice the difference and after a while will join the game.

Pictures of mom and dad: whenever possible, speak the words "Papa" and "Mama". Pin to the wall above a cot or chair pictures moms and dads. Every time you hear the kid "gulit" "mA-mA" and "PA-PA", show him the pictures and say, "It's mom, it's dad."

Development coordination

"Bird flew": Slowly teach the child some tale about birds. When you say "bird flew", raise your hands child up and clap your hands. Soon he will learn to wait for this moment in advance and will laugh. Try not to rock and not to pull the child's hands too much, they can easily dislocate.

Put the baby on his shoulders: Let daddy put the kid on his shoulders and a bit to go with it. Thus the child learns it is better to keep the balance, to control their movements and see the world from a height of dad's growth.

Shake baby leg: Sit on a comfortable chair and shake the child. Put one leg over the other and put the baby to their ankle. Take it in hand or keep the elbows. Swing the leg and sing a song, changing the tempo. Accordingly, the swing of the child: then slowly, then quickly.

If the child has learned to crawl: Build the child a fun obstacle course, putting a few pillows in pillowcases from different tissues. Let the kid try to move through them.

Spinning ball: a Great way to get your baby to crawl to show him how moving around the ball. Start slowly rotate it at some distance from the child. Notice the kid on the ball, saying: "Rather go here and get the ball."

Game ball: Put the baby on the floor and start rolling before him the ball back and forth. This sing him a little song.

Solving problems

The third toy: When the baby is holding in both hands the toy, ask him to take third. First, he tries to grab her, not letting go of those holds. However, after some time he will realize that before you take another subject, you need to free up your hands.

Toy, half-hidden under the blanket: Hide a favorite toy of a child under a blanket or lay something else, so that was visible of her edge. Baby grab that part of the toys you will see, and will be pulling for her. In the end, he will learn to pulling off with toys blanket.

Drop the doll from the table: Try to move a rag doll on the table and then let it fall. Do this a few times, and let the kid is watching your actions. After some time he will learn to wait for the moment when the doll will fall, and be advance to look at the floor.

Playing with molds: Give the kid a few molds for baking cakes. Show how you need to hit them together and on the table.

Hide the radio: Hide the radio under the diaper and see whether the kid to find it.

Balloon: Tie a balloon to a child's stroller. Baby will love to pull the rope and watch the ball. Never leave a child alone -- if the bubble bursts, the kid can take it in your mouth.

Give your baby a "Board games": Now is the best time to introduce your baby to the children's Board games. Select items that are easy to handle. Place the Board in the place where the baby will be comfortable to play.

Wave your hand goodbye: Every time you go out briefly from the room, don't forget a to wave goodbye to the kid by the hand. This will prepare the child to your long absence.

Everyday things

Feeding time

During feeding place it on a special high chair: At the age of six months, many children are able to sit on a high chair with a table or in the child seat. Giving the child into the hands of small pieces of food, you are helping him to develop movements of the fingers. Start your workout with cereals or unsalted crackers.

Attach to the child table toy on the suction Cup: There are many different toys that can be attached to the child table. They will entertain the baby, waiting until he will be served lunch.

Help the child to knock on the table: If the baby starts to drum on the table, follow his example and we will see whether this game. Repeat the word "strike, strike"to the consciousness of the baby has established the connection between speech and action.

Sweet jelly: Prepare a delicious jelly, mix the juice with gelatin, and put a few pieces on the table in front of the child. Your baby will probably be missed sweet slippery pieces and send them in the mouth.

Straws: If you eat at the restaurant, take a plastic straw and lid with holes from the cups, use them as toys. Put a few caps on the straw, leaving an empty space between them. Show your baby how to pull them with straws.

The holidays

Entertaining pillow: Sew for baby pillow with a picture of funny and sad faces. Show him one side of the pillow, then another. This will help the child to distinguish between expressions of a human face. If you are interested in his new toy, let him play with her.

Large rag doll: Give the kid a big rag doll, and he plays, moving her arms and legs up and down. Short phrases explain to the kid what he was doing.
