A synonym. Of midecamycin.

The composition and release form. The broad-spectrum antibiotic of the macrolide group. Issue; 1) tablets of 0.4 g in a package of 16 pieces; 2) dry substance for the preparation of 3,5% suspension for receiving inside the bottles in 115 ml. Medicinal properties. Has antimicrobial activity.

Indications for use. Infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by sensitive to the drug agents, especially when there are contraindications for use of penicillins: infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, mouth, skin and soft tissue, urinary tract, scarlet fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, whooping cough.

Application rules. Inside before eating. The dose is determined individually. The daily dose for children under 12 years of age: 30-50 mg/kg of body weight, divided in 2 doses. Treatment 7-10 days; for infections caused by chlamydia, 14 days. Children under 12 years is preferable to assign macropen in suspension.

The side effects. Gastrointestinal disorders, allergic reactions.

Contraindications. Severe renal insufficiency, hypersensitivity to the drug.

Special instructions. For the preparation of suspensions to the contents of the vial should add 100 ml of purified water. Before each use, the contents of the bottle should be well shaken. The prepared suspension stored in the refrigerator no more than 14 days.

Medicinal properties. Improves digestion.

Indications for use. Digestive disorders due to insufficient secretory and digestive capacity of the stomach and intestines (chronic gastritis, enterocolitis), chronic pancreatitis, hepatitis, cholecystitis, flatulence.

Application rules. Inside before meals, not chewing and drinking plenty of water. Dose and duration of treatment is determined by the physician. Children older than 10 years, usually 1 tablet 2-3 times a day.

The side effects. In some cases, allergic reactions.

Contraindications. Acute pancreatitis, exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis.

The composition and release form. Combination drug: contains anteroseptal in combination with bromelain, Pancreatin and dehydrocholic acid. Release tablets in a package of 20 pieces

Medicinal properties. Antibacterial and antifungal activity.

Indications for use. Nonspecific diarrhea, constipation, hepatitis, cholecystopathy and disrepute gallbladder, chronic pancreati, gastritis, duodenitis, chronic enteritis, flatulence.

Application rules. Inside. School-age children are prescribed 1 pill 2-3 times a day from 2-5 15-20 days or more.

The side effects. Heartburn, nausea.

METATSIKLINA HYDROCHLORIDE (METHACYCLJNI HYDROCHLORIDUM)

Synonyms. The Metatsiklina, Randomizing.

The composition and release form. Semi-synthetic antibiotic of the tetracycline group of broad-spectrum. Release capsules by 0.15 and 0.3 g in a package of 8 and 16 pieces

Medicinal properties. Has antimicrobial activity.

Indications for use. Infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by sensitive to the medication microorganisms: bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy, sore throat, otitis media, infections of the bile and urinary tract, gastroen-thereality, cellulitis, infected,burns and wounds, osteomyelitis.

Application rules. Inside 1 hour before eating or 2 hours after a meal, washed down with plenty of liquid. The dose depends on the severity of the disease and the sensitivity of the microorganism to the drug.

Daily dose infections of the lung and the middle reaches: for children aged 8 to 12 years - to 7.5 - 10 mg/kg of body weight in 2-4 intakes. The course of treatment is 7-10 days. Treatment should continue for 1-2 days after the disappearance of clinical symptoms.

The side effects. Nausea, vomiting, lack of appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, irritation of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, intestinal dysbiosis, candidiasis.

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines, age 8 years.

Special instructions. It is not recommended to combine metatsiklina with antacids and iron preparations because of the possible inactivation of the drug.

METHYLURACIL (METHYLURACILUM)

A synonym. Metall.

The composition and release form. A synthetic drug. Active substance - methyluracil. Release: 1) tablets 0.5 g in a package of 10 and 50 pieces; 2) candle rectal 0.5 g in a package of 10 PCs; 3) 10% ointment in tubes of 25, 50 and 350 g banks.

Medicinal properties. Has anti-inflammatory action; accelerates cell regeneration, wound healing, stimulates the immune system and the formation of leukocytes.

Indications for use. Weak healing wounds, burns, trophic ulcers, bone fractures, peptic ulcer and 12-perstnoj ulcers, radiation damage to the skin.

Application rules. Inside in the form of tablets during or after a meal. Children from 3 to 8 years 0.25 g 3 times a day, over 8 years - 0.25-0.5 g 3 times a day.

The side effects. Allergic reactions, headache, dizziness.

Contraindications. Acute and chronic leukemia forms of leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, malignant neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract, hypersensitivity to the drug.

METYPRED (METYPRED)

A synonym. Methylpredisolone.

The composition and release form. Synthetic glucocorticoid drug. The active ingredient methylprednisolone. Release: 1) tablets 4 and mg - 30 pcs. per pack; 2) lyophilized powder for injection in vial together with the solvent in ampoules of 4 ml (1 bottle of 250 mg of methylprednisolone sodium succinate).

Medicinal properties. Anti-inflammatory, immunodepressive and antiallergic action.

Indications for use. Collegeboy, allergic reactions, bronchial asthma (severe), glomerulonephritis, hepatitis.

Application rules. The dose is determined individually in accordance with the severity of the disease. When administered initial average dose 12-36 mg/day maintenance dose of 4 mg/day 1 once a day or every other day, in the morning.

The side effects. The syndrome Itsenko-Cushing syndrome; atrophy of the adrenal cortex; the increase in body mass; osteoporosis; low immunity. Perhaps the development of arterial hypertension, stomach ulcers, increase of intraocular pressure.

Medicinal properties. Has antianginal and anti-arrhythmic effect, reduces blood pressure, reduces cardiac function.

Indications for use. High blood pressure during vegetative-vascular dystonia; preventing attacks of paroxysmal tachycardia.

Application rules. Inside 25 mg 1-2 times a day for 2 weeks.

The side effects. Fatigue, weakness, lethargy, dizziness, depression, convulsions, confusion, or momentary loss of memory, headache, drowsiness or insomnia, nightmares, hallucinations, bradycardia, cold extremities, vascular insufficiency, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, peripheral edema, fainting, chest pain, shortness of breath, bronchospasm, diarrhea, nausea, dry mouth, abdominal pain, constipation, flatulence, heartburn, exacerbation of psoriasis, impaired vision, weight gain, allergic reactions (itching and rash).

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to the drug, acute heart failure, bradycardia (heart rate less than 60 per minute), cardiogenic shock, low blood pressure (less than 100 mm RT. Art.), impaired peripheral bravobride- . tion, depression, asthma, chronic lung disease, emphysema, diabetes mellitus, thyrotoxicosis, severe violations of the liver and/or kidney disease, psoriasis.

Special instructions. Used with caution in patients with diabetes, chronic heart failure and increased function of the thyroid gland.

Stop the drug should be gradually reducing the dose for 10-14 days.

Medicinal properties. Has biostimulating effect; improves metabolic processes, increases efficiency, reduces symptoms of mental and physical stress; regulates cell-mediated immunity. Promotes the redistribution of blood flow in areas of insufficient blood supply, particularly in the brain.

Indications for use. Physical and mental stress, including athletes; reduced efficiency; angina, heart failure, infectious-allergic bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis (as immunomodulator in combination therapy); eye diseases associated with abnormal blood vessels of the ocular fundus, retinal degeneration, acute disorders of cerebral circulation.

Application rules. Inside 30 minutes after a meal 1-3 capsules per day. Treatment 10-14 days or more. If necessary, repeat the course after a 2-3 week break.

The side effects. Tachycardia, fluctuating blood pressure, agitation, gastrointestinal disorders. Rarely, skin itching, rash.

Contraindications. Organic diseases of the Central nervous system.

Special instructions. Mildronate may exacerbate the effects of some antihypertensive drugs, cardiac glycosides.

MOVALIS (MOVALIS)

A synonym. Meloxicam.

The composition and release form. A synthetic drug. Active ingredient : meloxicam. Release: 1) tablets 0,0075 and 0.015 g (7.5 and 15 mg) in a package of 20 pieces; 2) candle rectal 0.015 g in a package of 20 pieces

Medicinal properties. Has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and analgesic action,

Indications for use. Rheumatoid arthritis, pain, arthritis, arthrosis, degenerative joint diseases.

Application rules. Inside while eating pills do not chew, drink water or any other liquid. Daily dose for children after 10 years of 0.005-0.0075 g (5-7,5 mg) in 1 reception.

Medicinal properties. Has antiemetic effect, calms the hiccups and fixes in some cases, nausea, and increases evacuative and motor activity of the stomach.

Indications for use. Nausea, vomiting, hiccups, biliary dyskinesia, flatulence, reflux esophagitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis, different types of dyspepsia.

Application rules. Inside for 15-30 minutes before meals. Children older than 5 years is prescribed but 0,25-0,5 tablets 3-4 times daily or 5 ml/kg of body weight per day.

The side effects. Rare anxiety, cramps smooth muscles of the digestive tract, headache, dry mouth, thirst, allergic reactions (itching, rash, urticaria).

Contraindications. Gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical intestinal obstruction, age 1 year, hypersensitivity to the drug.

Special instructions. With caution if impaired liver and kidney.
